Both NRI categories require J&K/Ladakh domicile certificate. Seats filled on NEET merit only. NRI status is for eligibility, not preference.
Required for BOPEE online registration. All uploaded digitally. No "under process" certificates accepted.
The brochure explicitly states BOPEE is "not in any way associated" with fee structures. Private college fees fixed by competent authorities and may be enhanced subsequently. Government college fees set by respective college principals/Govt. Always confirm directly with the college before admission.
BOPEE receives Central Pool MBBS seats from Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare every year.

All government college seats are 100% govt quota (no management/NRI). ASCOMS MGT+HMQ = 15 Management (OM) + 25 Hindu Minority Quota. 15% of govt seats go to MCC AIQ before state counselling. Reservation applies only to govt college seats — no reservation in private colleges (per brochure Chapter 19). Fractional/odd seats handled by institution-wise and gender-wise rotational policy for 2025.

All dates are "to be notified separately" per the BOPEE brochure. From 2025-26, BOPEE in collaboration with NIC is implementing end-to-end online counselling for all rounds. Once preferences are locked by the candidate during online counselling, they cannot be modified. No admission after MCI/NMC cutoff date under any circumstances. AYUSH/BPT counselling happens after MBBS/BDS seats are filled.
