Bond & Service Obligation

Per Govt of Odisha, Dept of Health & FW Resolution No. ME-II-19053/H dated 21/08/2020. Bond on ₹21 non-judicial stamp paper, signed by candidate + 2 sureties + 2 witnesses.

Compulsory Service in Odisha
After completing MBBS and registration, must render 2 years of service in the State of Odisha. Includes regular (OPSC), ad-hoc, or contractual appointment. Must join within 30 days of receiving appointment order.
₹25 Lakh
Bond Penalty (Non-Service)
If you refuse/fail to serve 2 years in Odisha after completing MBBS, you must pay ₹25,00,000 to the Governor of Odisha. Recoverable as public demand under Odisha Public Demand Recovery Act, 1962.
₹10 Lakh
Mid-Course Dropout Penalty
If you leave the MBBS course before completion (causing seat lapse), penalty is ₹10,00,000 to the Governor of Odisha.
Exception
Higher Study Exemption
Bond is suspended during higher studies (PG). Resumes after higher study completion. Death or permanent disability also exempt.

Allotment letter (MCC/OJEE), NEET admit card + rank letter + score card, 10th certificate (DOB), 10+2 pass certificate + mark sheet, Transfer Certificate, Conduct Certificate, ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/DL/Passport), 2 passport photos.
For Odisha State Quota
Domicile Certificate, Green Card (if applicable), Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC from competent authority of native state), EWS certificate, PwD certificate (from NMC-designated board).
Bond (Annexure A)
Original bond in ₹21 non-judicial stamp paper signed by candidate, 2 sureties, 2 witnesses. Must be complete in all respects at time of admission. Per Govt of Odisha Order dated 21.08.2020.
